Montgomery police investigating shooting

Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that left a man injured.

Police spokesperson Maj. Saba Coleman told Action 8 News the shooting happened at about 5:20PM Sunday. Police were called to the 1900 block of Gibbs Drive, where they found the man.

He was taken to a hospital for treatment for what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.

Police have released no other information.
