Two dead after accident on historic Selma bridge

A fatal accident on the historic Edmund Pettus Bridge — claims the lives of two Selma women early Sunday morning.
Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford says the accident happened at around 12:50 in the morning.
He says 45 year old Natasha Blevins Hall — and 32 year old Ashley Lewis were pushing a vehicle that had stopped on the bridge — the women were hit by another vehicle that came over the bridge.
Blevins Hall was pronounced dead on the scene.
Lewis died several hours later at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
