Warm And Dry For A Few More Days
Definitely a warm weather pattern has taken hold of our weather this week! Mostly sunny skies will allow temperatures to warm nicely into the upper 70s to lower 80s Overnight temps come up as well and we’re only falling into the lower to mid 50s. Wednesday should turn out to be the warmest with mid 80s possible in several locations.
Looks like a frontal boundary will make a run at the state late week. We now see a good chance for rain Friday. It looks like rainfall amounts would range between .50 to .75 of an inch. Model data continues to trend upwards and some spots could see a bit more. All indications are the front moves through but clouds and some shower activity will linger into the weekend. This will keep clouds and occasional showers working through the area. Temps will come down due to clouds and rain activity. Highs will only manage upper 60s to lower 70s both days. You will probably need the rain gear for any of your outdoor weekend plans.
In the meantime, you can definitely put the coats away this week. Enjoy the warmth while it last because you know colder air will return before too long.
