Mostly cloudy, rain-free Monday, but more rain later this week

Sunday was another gloomy day across central and south Alabama. Temperatures did not move much during the day, only warming to near 60° from the 50s Sunday morning. The sky was overcast, with brief isolated showers or nuisance drizzle throughout the day. The sky remains mainly cloudy Sunday night. Some drizzle remains possible, but measurable rain looks unlikely.

Our weather pattern remains unsettled this week. Monday looks mostly cloudy but mainly rain-free. Rain returns Tuesday through Wednesday, with some showers lingering into Thursday. Friday trends drier, but may remain mostly cloudy. Temperatures warm into the 60s to low 70s each day, with lows in the 40s to low and mid 50s each night.
