Trending Dry And Bit Warmer

Cloudy, windy, and wet conditions will linger overnight into early Thursday. We do get some sunshine to returns Thursday and Friday but It still looks like it will be the weekend before we see any decent amount of sunshine.
Currently, we are sitting between an area of low pressure over the northwestern gulf and high pressure centered over the carolinas. This puts us in a spot for clouds and rain at times. The low pressure system will start drifting southward and no longer be a player in our weather Thursday afternoon. Our rain chances will decrease and we’re trending drier going into the latter half of the week and upcoming weekend. The sky opens up a bit revealing some sunshine and temps warm into the upper 60s Thursday and mid 70s Friday. A frontal boundary will approach Friday afternoon but moisture will be limited and it passes through mainly dry.
The sky will look a lot brighter with sunshine returning in full force this weekend. High temps will hover around 70 degrees both days. Nights will be a bit cooler with lows upper 30s to lower 40s.
We head into next week with another rain maker working across the area. Cloudy and wet conditions are likely Monday afternoon into early Tuesday. There could even be a rumble of thunder with this system as it passes through the state. The longer range data is showing the sky clears and we’re mostly sunny and dry for the Thanksgiving Holiday period of Wednesday through Friday. Temps will be chilly at night with mid to upper 30s for lows and daytime highs hovering in the lower to mid 60s.
