A Pleasant Weekend But Storms Return Early Next Week

We will start out our Saturday with some lingering clouds but the sky will be clearing and abundant sunshine settles in during the afternoon hours. Temps will manage lower to mid 70s for highs. Cooler air will move into the state Saturday night and temps fall into the upper 30s to lower 40s. Another mostly sunny and dry day is ahead for Sunday. Temps will climb into the upper 60s with a few spots reaching 70 degrees.
Another frontal system heads our way early next week. This front will be stronger and pack a punch with the potential for strong to severe storms. The storm threat is setting up for Tuesday. The main threats will be damaging winds and possibly a tornado. We’re on the backside of the front Wednesday. Drier northwesterly winds kick in and send cooler air along with clearing skies into the deep south. Temps only top out in the upper 50s to lower 60s for highs and fall into the upper 30s to lower 40s for lows Wednesday and Thursday. We expect abundant sunshine for your Thanksgiving Day.
We continue with the dry and cool conditions Friday but moisture will be increasing for Satuday. We will mention a slight rain chance for Iron Bowl Saturday. Temps would most likely hover in the 60s for highs and lows in the 40s.
