City employee killed in Selma’s latest homicide
Selma police are investigating the city’s latest homicide that involves one of their own.
Selma Police Chief Kenta Fulford tells Action 8 News that officers responded to the 3400 block of Water Avenue Tuesday after receiving a call that a person had been shot.
Once they arrived, they found the victim, Jamyron Hope, on the ground unresponsive. Chief Fulford says Hope is an Evidence Tech with the Selma Police Department.
The case has been turned over to the State Bureau of Investigations.
