Black Friday brings crowds to stores, searching for bargains
Black Friday had shoppers out early in Montgomery and elsewhere, as they hoped to find bargains that would only last for one day.
If you didn’t make it in time, the good news is that many sales run through Monday.
At Academy Sports at EastChase on Friday, doorbuster specials began at 5AM, with some items at half-off. 40-50 people were waiting for the doors to open.
“I’m a sales guy,” shopper Randy Braxton told Action 8 News. “I love the sales, so if there’s an opportunity to save a little bit of money on the things that you love, I’m here for it.”
