Sunshine Wednesday, clouds increase Thursday, rain Friday
Tuesday morning was very cold across central and south Alabama. Morning lows fell into the 20s. Temperatures were in the low to mid 50s again by midday. However, temperatures remain January-like through the afternoon, with highs in the upper 50s. The sky remains mostly to partly sunny for the rest of the day. Wednesday night looks cold with lows in the low to mid 30s with a mostly clear to partly cloudy sky.
Clouds increase Thursday, and temperatures trend milder. Afternoon temperatures finally reach the low 60s again. Thursday night remains much milder with lows near 50°. Rain returns late Thursday night into Friday morning. A few storms appear possible through Friday afternoon. However, the severe risk looks very low. There may be a lull in rain Friday night. Clouds linger Friday night, and low temperatures may not fall below 60°.
Rain continues this weekend. Rain could be fairly widespread Saturday, but tapers off Sunday. Each day looks mainly cloudy otherwise. However, temperatures remain mild, with highs near 70°. Next Monday looks rain-free but mostly cloudy and mild with highs in the 60s. Sunshine increases Tuesday and Wednesday, but temperatures trend cooler. High temperatures range from the upper 50s to low 60s each day. Lows fall into the 30s each night.
