Bond denied for suspect in fatal shooting at baby shower in Dallas County

The suspect in a fatal shooting at a baby shower in Dallas County won’t be allowed to post bond.

Bond was denied for 18-year-old Cedric Long.  He is charged with murder and attempted murder following the shooting in Marion Junction last week.

As Action 8 News has reported, 32-year-old Charles Pruitt was killed and 42-year-old Aaron McKinley was hurt in the shooting.

Investigators say Long ran away after the shooting, but was later arrested in Hale County.
