Cold Sunday night, sunshine Monday, cool temperatures this week

Sunday was a gloomy day- cloudy, cool, wet, and windy. The heaviest rain and storm activity from Saturday night departed our area early Sunday morning. However, light scattered showers and an overcast sky lingered into the late afternoon. Our warmest part of the day was late last night, with temperatures falling throughout the day. Sunday night turns cold with a clear sky. Lows fall to near freezing (32°).

Afternoon temperatures only warm into the 50s Monday, despite a sunny sky throughout the day. Monday night lows fall to near or below freezing. The rest of the week looks cool, with a mix of clouds and sun each day. Afternoon temperatures peak in the low 60s Tuesday through Friday. Another round of rain appears possible next weekend, with high temperatures still in the low 60s.
