ALEA pursuit in Autauga County ends with suspect crashing in Prattville
A man is under arrest after a chase involving state troopers on Interstate 65 in Autauga County.
Investigators say a state trooper tried to pull over the driver of a small SUV suspected of speeding just north of Prattville just after 9:30 last night.
That’s when investigators say the chase began, which went from I-65 onto U.S. Highway 31 and eventually into Prattville.
The driver eventually crashed.
He’s been identified as 19-year-old Skylar Salter of Brewton. He’s being held on charges of marijuana possession, attempting to elude and many traffic offenses.
