Troy Men’s Basketball gets back in the win Column with a win over SUMO

Troy Men's Basketball

The Trojans pick up the 110-63 win against Southern University- New Orleans and move to 5-5 so far on the season.

Leading the Trojans to victory was Christyon Eugene who had a team-high of 19 points on the night. Eugene’s 19-point effort also marks his 10th straight game in double figures. Another Trojan who had a big night was Randarius Jones who had his best career game as a Trojan putting up 15 points.

“I was very disappointed with our defense at halftime; offensively, we were fine. I didn’t feel like we guarded at all. Credit to them, they did hit some shots. They got to the baskets and to the free-throw line. They outplayed us in the first half. The last 15 minutes our guys really turned it on. At least we ended the game the right way. We definitely sat down and played better defense,” says Head Coach Scott Cross.

The Trojans return to action on December 19th at Ole Miss.
