Annual Holiday House in Selma wraps up Saturday
From the West Alabama Newsroom–
The 45th Annual Holiday House in Selma — provides unique Christmas gift items — that can’t be found anywhere else.
Held each year — during the first two weeks in December — Holiday House provides a Christmas shopping experience — like no other.
This year features rare vintage and hand-crafted items — from over 40 vendors like ceramic artist — Lisa Wilson.
“You’re not going to get this out of Potter Barn. You will not find anything like this, really anywhere,” she said.
And some gifts can even be made to order — right on the spot.
Andrew Truax is a first-time vendor at the event.
“You can’t get this everywhere, something personalized. So, it’s yours and nobody will have the exact same thing as you,” he said.
Sweets and eats for the holidays — are also available at the Holiday House.
Mary Caine has been a vendor for years.
“Squash bread, zucchini bread, sour cream pound cake, chocolate chip pound cake, apple sauce bread, all of this’ll freeze and it’s great gifts if you wanna give somebody something,” she said.
There are only a few days left to take advantage. The event wraps up this Saturday at 5:30 PM.
