Clearing sky Sunday night and turning colder early this week

Sunday was mostly cloudy and breezy. However, it was mainly dry after a few lingering early morning showers departed. Additionally, some sunshine returned to the sky late in the day, particularly west of Interstate 65. The sky clears for the rest of our area Sunday night. Temperatures turn colder, falling to near 40°. However, a breezy northwest wind continues Sunday night. Wind chills dip into the low and mid 30s early Monday morning.

Afternoon temperatures rebound to near 60° with abundant sunshine Monday. Monday night looks very cold, with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s. Tuesday looks quite cool, with highs in the 50s. Tuesday night also looks very cold, with lows in the upper 20s to low 30s. The rest of the week remains cool with a mix of sun and clouds and highs in the low 60s each day. Lows fall into the 30s each night. Looks like rain returns during the Christmas holiday weekend.
