Pay It Forward: Lisa Christian of Montgomery
Lisa Christian is the president of the Panther Parent Association (PPA) at Dalraida Elementary.
She spends a lot of her time planning and organizing things.
“She’s our PPA president here. She does so much for the teachers, for our students, for the family members whenever we have programs or we need things. We can call on her and she helps us. Even if we need to go get something, she’ll just get it,” said teacher and nominator Misty Trussell.
We asked Lisa why she gives so much? She says it’s all about the kids.
“They deserve to have support because they don’t get enough support from the community. Parents and a lot of people are working and can’t come to the school and help out, so I try to do my part and be here when they need me,” said Christian.
“She is always here and giving so many hours of her time. She does it for everybody, everybody here. I’m just excited she was able to get this,” said Trussell.
