Much Colder Air Ahead This Week

The rain has moved out and we’re entering into a drier weather pattern for several days.  High pressure will be over the region Through Wednesday.  A partly to mostly cloudy sky will hover over us under this setup. Temps will manage lower 60s for highs and lows in the upper 30s to lower 40s through early Thursday.  An upper level disturbance will move through the deep south Thursday.  It will drag a cold front through our area and along with it will be much colder air. We’re only expecting high temps in the upper 40s to lower 50s and lows in the upper 20s to lower 30s late week. Looks like any precipitation accompanying the system will pass well north of us.  The much colder air mass and dry conditions will linger into the upcoming weekend.  We do see the potential for some rain returning to the area early next week .
