A Chance To Dry Out For A Few Days
We get a chance to dry out for a few days before the next storm system moves into the deep south. Rainfall from this recent system was quite heavy with some spots seeing 4 to 6 inches of rainfall. The drier days will do us some good before more soaking rains arrive late week.
In the meantime, there’s improving weather ahead for Wednesday and Thursday of this week. High pressure returns and we receive a good supply of sunshine both days. Temps will start out cold each morning with lower to mid 30s. Afternoon temps will top out in the mid to upper 50s Wednesday and lower 60s Thursday.
Another storm system will approach Thursday night and move through the area Friday. More rain and storms are likely to work through the area. Some of the storms could be strong to possibly severe with this system. We will be monitoring and keeping you up to date.
Our upcoming weekend is looking rainfree and quiet. We expect mainly sunny skies but no significant warm up. It will be colder with highs only in the upper 40s to lower 50s. Overnight lows will hover in the upper 20s to lower 30s.
