However, rain continues through Tuesday morning. Tuesday afternoon trends drier, but remains cool and breezy. Winds remains west-southwesterly at 20 mph with gusts over 30 mph. Tuesday night turns cold with a clearing sky. Lows fall into the low to mid 30s.

Wednesday and Thursday look rain-free with a partly cloudy sky each day. Temperatures remains cool Wednesday, with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s. Thursday looks milder, with highs in the low 60s. Another round of rain and storms looks likely Friday. A storm system develops and quickly strengthens to our northwest. It takes a similar track to Tuesday’s system. Likewise, severe storms appear possible Friday.

The weekend looks dry again as Friday’s storms depart. Saturday and Sunday look partly cloudy and cool with highs in the 50s and lows in the 30s. Another round of rain appears possible on MLK day. Temperatures may turn very cold next Tuesday as rain-free conditions return.
