Water tank in Selma – WAKA Action 8 News

People in Selma have been given an emergency notice to boil water until further notice.

Selma’s Water Works and Sewer Board says the water system is experiencing low pressure and outages. It says there is an unidentified water loss.

Water officials say if you experience low pressure, boil water before you use it.

They say there is no timeline on how long it will take to get the problem fixed, but are asking for patience.

A request for bottled water has been made through the Dallas County Emergency Management Agency. An announcement will be made if bottled water becomes available with instructions on how to get it.
