Woman killed in apparent tornado in Houston County

A woman has been killed in an apparent tornado near Cottonwood in Houston County.

The county coroner said 81-year-old Charlotte Paschal was killed when her mobile home was tossed from its foundation.

Widespread damage is being reported throughout the town. People are being told to stay away because of debris, downed power lines and other hazards.
