MPS band director to be featured on the Kelly Clarkson Show

A band director with Montgomery Public Schools will be featured on the Kelly Clarkson Show next week.

Spokesperson Jade Jones tells Action 8 News that Mr. Coleman Woodson will be on the show on MLK Day. Woodson is currently the Director of Bands at Floyd Middle Magnet School.

Jones said a producer of the show picked up the story after learning about Woodson’s background related to his work during the Civil Rights movement.
