ACTION 8 UPDATE: The Water Works and Sewer Board of Selma has lifted the emergency notice for residents to boil water.
The board says it has completed major repairs to its water distribution system. The board says the water has been tested and is safe to use.
Tuesday, people in Selma were given an emergency notice to boil water due to low pressure and outages.
Bottled water was being distributed, but the board says that will now end.
It says that due to weather conditions, including sub-freezing temperatures next week, there may be further measures that will become necessary.
