Robby Ashord lands at South Carolina

After announcing that he was entering the transfer portal ahead of the Tigers bowl game, former Auburn Quarterback Robby Ashford has announced his commitment to South Carolina.
Before coming to Auburn the Hoover, Alabama native spent two seasons out west at Oregon. Ashford did not record any stats with the Ducks. After two seasons at Oregon, Ashford transferred to Auburn where he spent two seasons. During the 2022 season, Ashford saw the field in all twelve of the Tigers games. In 2023, Ashford found himself in a battle for the quarterback position during fall camp where he was eventually beat out by Michigan State transfer Payton Thorne. During the 2023 season Ashford saw the field in ten of the Tigers twelve regular season games.
