ACTION 8 UPDATE: Union Springs police arrest man wanted on attempted murder charge

ACTION 8 UPDATE: Union Springs police have found and arrested Jessie Haynes III. No other details have been announced.

Union Springs police need your help as they search for a man wanted on an attempted murder charge and other charges.

Police want to find 23-year-old Jessie Haynes III. He is wanted in connection to a shooting on January 10 that happened in the 400 block of Conecuh Avenue East.

The other charges he faces are assault in the first degree, firing a gun into an occupied dwelling and firing a gun into an occupied  car.

Investigators say Haynes weighs 150 pounds, is 6’1″ tall and is known to drive a white Ford Crown Victoria. The car has front end damage.

Haynes is known to frequent Midway. Investigators say they believe he has a gun on him. They say he should not be approached.
