Georgiana woman killed in Lowndes County crash
A Georgiana woman has been killed in a single-car crash in Lowndes County.
Alabama State Troopers say 22-year-old Sophia Rogers was driving a car that left the roadway and overturned. Investigators say she was not using a seat belt and was thrown out of the car. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
The wreck happened at about 10:25PM Wednesday on Alabama Highway 185, about one mile south of Fort Deposit.
