Two arrested in Montgomery County homicide
The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two people in connection to a weekend homicide.
Assistant Chief Deputy Wesley Richerson tells Action 8 News that 56-year-old John White and 50-year-old Adrian Moultrie were arrested and charged with murder in the death of 34-year-old Dewane Wooten.
The fatal shooting occurred on Saturday, January 13 on Riverside Road in Montgomery County. Riverside Road is near Wares Ferry Road.
Once deputies arrived, they found Wooten dead from a gunshot wound.
White and Moultrie are in the Montgomery County Detention Facility.
