Deputies seek suspect in violent business robbery in Hope Hull

Lowndes County Sheriff’s deputies want to find the suspect in a business robbery in Hope Hull that turned violent.

According to Central Alabama CrimeStoppers, the robbery happened  at around 3AM Saturday, January 13, at the Pilot-Flying J at 900 Tyson Road, just off Interstate 65.

Investigators say the suspect went behind the counter and began stealing merchandise, placing items into a gray trash can.

They say the suspect was approached by an employee, when the suspect hit the employee with a chrome-colored pistol and forced the employee to the ground.

Investigators say the suspect left in an unknown direction. 

Investigators say the suspect was seen on video surveillance wearing a black beanie, black hooded sweatshirt, dark-colored pants and gray shoes. 

No other details have been released.
