Place your bids at state surplus property auction

The State of Alabama is offering you the chance to bid on items it no longer needs at a surplus property auction.

Thousands of items, including office and medical equipment, furniture, cars, trucks and backhoes, will be up for bid, according to the Alabama Dept. of Economic and Community Affairs.

The auction runs from 7:30AM Saturday, Jan. 27 until 6PM Sunday, Feb. 4.

In addition to property no longer needed by state and federal agencies, ADECA acquires items abandoned voluntarily at several airports in the Southeast.

You can see the inventory in person at the Surplus Property Division’s Montgomery Distribution Center at 4590 Mobile Highway from 8AM-3PM Wednesday, Jan. 31, to Friday, Feb. 2.
