Butler County Schools Using State of the art Camera System

With help from the federal government the Butler County Board of Education is able to replace their outdated 20 year old surveillance system. The new system makes it possible for administrators to see the activities of each school, facility and property within the school system.

With wireless capabilities, administrators can watch over their schools from anywhere. This freedom gives security in knowing that children are better kept safe. The older system could only be monitored from a specific computer system, usually from the office space. Now, administrators can view their school via their laptop and cell phones.

In addition, the central office has the ability to view each property within Butler County Schools. Which is helping to alleviate the issue of  confrontations as well as who enters and moves throughout the schools.
