Missing Montgomery 16 year old’s family pleads for information from the public
The heartbroken mother of a missing 16 year old boy is pleading with people in Montgomery to help find her son. Local lawmakers joined the family of 16 year old Michael Anthony Cole, Jr. Monday afternoon to show their support and offer resources to help in the search for the missing teen. His Mother Keisha Felder says “Mike Junior” – as he is known to his family – has been missing since last Thursday night January 25th.
Friends and family spent all weekend looking for him, and the Montgomery Police Department issued an Emergency Missing Child Alert this morning. The Alabama Law Enforcement Agency also issued a statewide alert on Monday. The family, CrimeStoppers, and the organization “Citizens that Care” are jointly offering several thousand dollars in reward money for information. Mike Junior’s aunt says they will start searching for him again Tuesday morning.
16 year old Michael Anthony Cole, Jr has pierced ears and tattoos featuring writing on both arms. He was last seen in the Ridgecrest area near Southmont Drive with another person. He was wearing a black sweater with the word “Tulones” in white on it, black skinny jeans, and black and white Jordan 11’s. Anyone with information about Mike Junior’s whereabouts is asked to call CrimeStoppers at 215-STOP.
