Selma capital murder suspect captured and returned to stand trial

A Selma man accused of shooting a woman in front of her children — made a first appearance before a Dallas County judge Friday morning.
Tramaine Walter was captured in Mississippi and brought back to Alabama — to stand trial on two counts of capital murder.
Walter is charged in the death of 32 year old Jasmine Callens. The mother of five — was shot on the 1500 block of Tremont Street and later died — back in September.
Walter was advised of his rights — the charges against him — and was appointed an attorney.
A preliminary hearing was set for April 2nd.
