Tuskegee adds speed cameras to improve traffic safety

The city of Tuskegee has added speed cameras to help improve traffic safety.

Tuskegee Police Chief Jennifer Jordan says these cameras will play a vital role in encouraging drivers not to speed, which will help prevent pedestrian and car accidents.

Florida-based JENOPTIK Solutions is installing and maintaining the equipment.

There are six cameras in three locations that are working and citations will start being given to speeders today.
