Trinity’s Webber McClinton Signs to South Alabama Football
Trinity Presbyterian football player Webber McClinton will be playing for South Alabama come next fall.
Surrounded by family, including his quarterback twin brother, McClinton signed on to play at South Alabama University in a crowded Trinity gym on Wednesday.
Trinity head coach Brian Seymore called McClinton the most complete two-way player he’s ever seen.
McClinton played as a wide receiver and defensive back for the Wildcats. For college though, he says he will narrow his focus on the wide receiver position
“I love Coach (Paul) Petrino, my wide receiver coach. And he knows that’s what I’ve done in high school and he hopes that I can do that for South.”
