8 ON YOUR SIDE CONSUMR ALERT: 380,000 Frigidaire refrigerators are being recalled.

The models involved are side-by-side models with slim ice buckets.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission says the bucket assembly components can break, causing plastic pieces to fall into the ice buckets. That presents a possible choking or cutting hazard.

At least 343 incidents have been reported.

The CPSC says consumers should immediately stop using the ice makers and contact Electrolux Group, the maker of the refrigerators, to request a replacement ice bucket assembly component, free of charge.

The refrigerators were sold at Lowe’s, Home Depot and other stores nationwide and online at Frigidaire.com from November 2015 through September 2019 for between $1,400 and $2,400.
