Demopolis police charge man with murder after missing woman’s body found

Demopolis police say they have charged a man with murder after a missing woman’s body was found.
Police say they have charged Michael Moses Brown will killing Sabrina Danielle Harbin. He is being held at the Marengo County Detention Center awaiting a bond hearing after his arrest yesterday in Eutaw.
Police say this case started on Tuesday night when officers responded to a missing person call at MySpace Apartments on West Jackson Street. Officers had been told that Harbin had last been seen walking east on Jackson Street.
During the following days, officers from the Demopolis Police Department, the 17th Judicial Circuit Task force and firefighters from the Demopolis Fire Department continued to search the area for Harbin using boats, drones and other equipment.
Yesterday afternoon, they say they were in boats and discovered Harbin’s body floating in a body of water. The body has been taken to the Department of Forensic Sciences for further examination. Police have not revealed details on how she may have died.
Police say they want to thank these agencies for their help in the investigation: The 17th Judicial Task Force, Demopolis Fire Department, Alabama Game and Fish, Alabama State Bureau of Investigation Latent Print Unit, Marengo County Sheriff’s Office, Greene County Sheriff’s Office, Eutaw Police Department and Equusearch Midwest.
