Dry And Slightly Cooler Period

We’re on the backside of the frontal system going into the weekend. High pressure will settle over the deep south and that means a quiet weather pattern for us. A slight cool down but our sky is looking mainly clear.

Saturday starts out chilly with temps in the lower 40s. We’re expecting lots of sunshine but a cool northwesterly wind flow will keep temps in check. Afternoon high temps will range between the mid to upper 60s. Saturday night is looking clear and colder. Temps will drop into the mid 30s for overnight lows.

We head into Sunday with abundant sunshine overhead. Temps will still hover in the mid to upper 60s for highs. Our sky remains clear with temps in the mid 40s for lows Sunday night.

The upcoming work week will start out rather warm with temps climbing into the mid to upper 70s for highs both Monday and Tuesday. Changes are ahead for midweek as a cold front enters the picture Wednesday. Rain and storms are likely to form along and ahead of the system. We will be watching this system a little closer. There’s the potential for strong to possibly severe storms. We will keep you posted.
