CAMPAIGN 2024: Biden, Trump declared winners of Alabama presidential primaries

CAMPAIGN 2024: President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump have been declared the winners of their party’s presidential primaries.
The Associated Press made the announcements at 7:45PM CT Tuesday night, 45 minutes after the polls closed.
Biden was on the Democratic ballot with Minnesota Congressman Dean Phillips. Voters also had the option of choosing “uncommitted.”
Trump faced Nikki Haley, the only major challenger left in the Republican race. There were seven candidates, plus “uncommitted” on the Republican ballot.
