Woman shot near downtown Montgomery
Montgomery police are investigating a shooting near downtown that left a woman injured.
Police told Action 8 News that at about 4:30AM today, they and fire medics were called to the 900 block of South Union Street, which is just south of Interstate 85.
They say they found the woman, who was taken to a hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
Police have released no other information.
