LBW Ensemble Perform for More than 5,000 People
The LBW Ensemble is on tour. Across 5 counties, with 15 to 20 shows and countless hours of preparation and rehearsal they’ve now performed to approximately 5,600 people. At schools in Butler Covington Crenshaw Coffee and Geneva Counties.
“We like to think of ourselves as a mobile PR machine.Everyone that works at LBW has that mission. The President is big on it and we take what we do in that regard very seriously so we try to get into as many schools as we can,” says Director Johnny Brewer.
The band is comprised of members who hail from the schools that they now get the opportunity to play for. Using the opportunity to encourage those listening will follow in their footsteps. LBW offers scholarships to each band member and offered auditions to incoming freshmen and transfer students.
