Kiwanis Club of Montgomery gives out more than $339,000 in grants

The Kiwanis Club of Montgomery has announced it is presenting more than $339,000 in grants to non-profits in the River Region.
The announcement was held at a luncheon at the RSA Activity Center today. The money was raised during last year’s Alabama National Fair, which the Kiwanis Club has presented at Garrett Coliseum since 1954.

The grants are given to organizations that help children. This year, 30 grants were presented, representing a total sum of $339,812.
Through the years, the Kiwanis Club of Montgomery has donated more than $10 million to charity.
The 2024 Alabama National Fair is October 4-14.
