MPD: Woman injured in Saturday shooting
Montgomery police are investigating a shooting that injured a woman Saturday night.
Sgt. Tina McGriff tells Action 8 News that officers were called around 9:30 p.m. to a local hospital concerning a victim arriving with a gunshot wound.
Once they arrived, they made contact with an adult female victim with non-life threatening injuries.
It was later determined that the shooting occurred in the area of Whiting Avenue at Ridgecrest Street.
No word on any suspects at this time.
