Dallas County deputies arrest suspect in rash of 18-wheeler break-ins

The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a suspect after a rash of 18-wheeler break-ins.

Sheriff Mike Granthum told Action 8 News that an undercover officer witnessed 37-year-old Roderick Blue of Selma break into the trailer of an 18-wheeler during a sting operation.

Granthum says Blue fled the scene, but was later arrested.

Granthum says the sting was set up in response to a rash of about a dozen truck break-ins at two convenience stores.

Blue is charged with breaking and entering of a vehicle and attempting to elude.
