Montgomery house fire under investigation
Investigators are looking into the cause of a fire that badly damaged a home in Montgomery.
The fire happened at a home in the 3400 block of Somerville Drive just before 9:30PM Monday. The location is just off Carter Hill Road, not far from Dannelly Elementary School.
When crews arrived, they found the house in flames. No one was in the home at the time of the fire, but three dogs were in the backyard and were not hurt.
No one was injured in the fire.
