A Brief Cool Down Before A Significant Warm Up!

A weak boundary will slide through the region overnight into early Thursday. Our sky will become partly to mostly cloudy but it’s too dry for any precipitation. The winds behind the boundary will be northerly and that will continue a flow of cool/dry air into the area. Morning temps will be a bit cooler with mid 40s Thursday and upper 30s to lower 40s Friday morning. It’s a very brief cool snap because we’re heading towards a significant warm up over the weekend. High pressure will be building over the deep south and that will start the warming process. We’re expecting lots of sunshine and temps will be responding over the weekend into early next week..

In the meantime, our sky will become mostly cloudy overnight. Temps will fall into the mid to upper 40s for lows. The clouds depart and we’re expecting a mostly sunny and mild conditions Thursday. Temps should manage upper 60s to lower 70s for highs. We’re looking at a clear and much cooler overnight period Thursday into Friday morning. Temps will drop into the upper 30s to lower 40s. That should keep us out of any frost threat Friday morning.

Our upcoming Easter weekend is setting up to be very nice! You can expect lots of sunshine and temps warming into the upper 70s to lower 80s for highs. This should be great conditions for any outdoor plans both days. Looks like the warm spring conditions will spill over into that following workweek. Mid 80s are possible Monday and Tuesday. Our next potential rain maker will be a frontal system approaching Tuesday into Wednesday.
