Andalusia police say one person has been arrested as they seek four others after a fight that involved shots being fired.

Police say the fight happened at around 12:30AM Sunday in a parking lot on South Cotton Street. Two people were injured. Investigators say the fight started after a disagreement inside a bar escalated outside.

Police say 40-year-old Christina Laorraine Johnson of Andalusia was charged with assault and disorderly conduct and has been released on a $20,500 bond.

Police say they have misdemeanor arrest warrants for the following people:

  • Takia Jolie Stoudemire, 19, of Andalusia, charged with assault and will have a $1,000 cash bond.
  • Kalesha Aledonya Hill, 47, of Andalusia, charged with assault and disorderly conduct, and will have a $2,000 cash bond.
  • Annette Star Moody, 38, of Opp, charged with assault and disorderly conduct, and will have a $2,000 cash bond.
  • Courtney Pierre Hill, 37, of Andalusia, charged with assault, inciting a riot and disorderly conduct, and will have a $3,000 cash bond.

Police say the four have been notified of the outstanding warrants are expected to turn themselves in.

Andalusia Police Chief Paul Hudson said there were dozens of people at the scene when officers arrived, which is one reason the arrests took so long.

“We had to interview a number of witnesses and reconcile their stories with video evidence of the altercation,” Hudson said. “That took time.”

Hudson said the APD will not tolerate this behavior.

“We will be patrolling the area to make sure we don’t continue to have these kinds of problems.”

Hudson expressed his appreciation to Off the Trax owner Seth Stewart, the Covington County Sheriff’s Office  and the Covington County E911 for their assistance in the response and investigation.
