ACTION 8 UPDATE: Trees, power lines down after overnight storms

Action 8 News has several reports of trees and power lines being down after the strong to severe storms blew through the area overnight.

Here is a list of damage reports from emergency management agencies:

CHILTON COUNTY:
Structural damage reported in Verbena area, not yet confirmed whether a tornado struck
Several trees and power lines down on County Road 424.

DALLAS COUNTY:
Multiple trees down throughout the county.

ELMORE COUNTY:
Tree down on Elmore Road in Wetumpka
Tree down on Marhshell Road in Wetumpka
Tree in road on Friendship Road in Tallassee
Tree in road on Tallassee Highway in Tallassee

TALLAPOOSA COUNTY:
Lighting struck power poll on Church Road in Alexander City
Tree down on Cherokee Road at Central Alabama Community College entrance in Alexander City
Tree down on State Road 50 and Church Hill Road with power lines broken
