Continued Dry And Cooler

Our stretch of dry and cooler weather conditions continues for now.  A cool north to northwesterly wind flow is pushing in the chilly air. Even with lots of sunshine temps remain below average for early April. Daytime highs will only manage the mid to upper 60s while overnight lows fall into the upper 30s to lower 40s through Friday.

The upcoming weekend will reveal a gradual warming trend. We’re expecting mainly sunny skies and dry conditions to remain in place.   Southerly winds will return and temps begin to really respond by Sunday.  Mid to upper 70s are likely Sunday afternoon.

Early next week will be trending active again. Moisture will be on the increase and the chance for rain will return for Monday.  The chance for showers will stick around through  the week with storm potential Thursday into the latter half of the week.  Unfortunately, clouds and showers may be a factor for viewing the partial solar eclipse here Monday.  The event begins around 12:40pm and that’s when clouds will be around the area. The chance for showers is low but a few can’t be ruled out during the afternoon hours. There’s still time to make adjustments to that forecast.  It would be a real shame to miss out on such a neat event.
