Crawfish Boil to fight autism celebrates 20 years in Montgomery
Easterseals of Central Alabama held its annual crawfish boil to fight autism at Riverwalk Stadium on Saturday.
The 20th annual event included more than 4,000 pounds of crawfish, sausage, potatoes and more. There was live music and family-friendly activities.
All proceeds benefit autism testing and therapies for children in the area.
“We have raised upwards of $40,000 a year now to help provide services to children, adults and seniors living with disabilities primarily autism In the River Region. It’s just incredible for us to see a community from our guests to our incredible sponsors that come out,” Stefania Jones, who led the event, told Action 8 News.
