Alabama Women’s Basketball signs Zaay Green out of the transfer portal

The Alabama Crimson Tide Women’s Basketball Team picks up Zaay Green out of the transfer portal. Green started her career at Tennessee where she spent two season. During her freshman year with the Vols Green was named to the SEC All-Freshman Team. After two seasons at Tennessee Green transferred to Texas A&M and spent one season with the Aggies where she helped them claim a regular season SEC Championship title. After Texas A&M, Green spent three seasons at the University of Arkansas-Pine Bluff.

During her time at UAPB, she was a two-time first-team All-SWAC and played in 55 games.

Before her college career Green was a starter in the McDonald’s All-American game and the Jordan Brand Classic in 2018. In addition, she was also named to the Naismith All-America third-team and Max Preps All-America fourth-team.
